Ok so in the midst of a lot of travel planning we got the idea in our head that we should really fix up the goaties with some kind of shelter, so that they can be allowed outside on days when it might rain. And so, the night before the doode heads off for a busy week and then we go on our big trip to Copenhagen, we decide to spend the day–cutting a hole in the side of the barn, and then patching it back up. We need some help prioritizing sometimes I swear!!

Anyhow, here’s the pics.

alas time to find a new spot for the 'barrows

ready steady go

measure twice argue three times

Ok I mean, discuss, discuss thoroughly, weighing options. Then in the end (after 30 seconds) cut the #$%#$ up!

Ta da!

oof we made a big hole, now what?

Putting the stall mats in was the hardest part. By a lot. Anyhow we finished the job tonight and the goaties tried it out. More photos to follow! Huzzah!
