This evening we were out yucking it up with the goaties et al. Kids playing ball against the barn door, chickens tooling around the yard chasing evening bugs, goaties snacking on bushes, doode and me watching the bees come in to the hive. Very nice evening.
After putting the goaties away I noticed something odd with the pongo dongo. Was there something wrong with her teeth?? I wrestled with her to take a look, and yikes! Snaggle tooth. Oh no. Is she healthy? Is this why she’s so skinny? What?
I came in and a quick google revealed, relief! Goaties lose their teeth!! They lose the two front ones around one year of age! And then the ones next to that the following year. Sidney still has all her cute little baby teeth. Big sis Roppongi looks a bit rough for now.
