who knew–bees and HFCS

One interesting thing I learned in beekeeping class. Commercial beekeepers use high fructose corn syrup to feed their bees! WOW! Check out this picture from the Brushy Mountain Catalog.

One study suggests that when the bees convert the HFCS the heating process creates a toxic substance HMF (I’m not even going to try and spell that one out folks!).
